Typically most winter’s its a dry time of the year here on the White River in Northern Arkansas but not this year!  Heavy rains early in the week and now it’s back again for the next couple days.  This weekend flows were cut to around 6,000 cfs and minimum flow at night.  Made for good fishing and streamer bite remains good.  Nymphing has also been very productive and along with lots of small egg patterns.  Fishing a weighted shad pattern or bugger with a dropper egg under a strike indicator has been very productive.  With all of today’s rain and more coming probably going back to high water very soon.
