Been enjoying the last couple weeks fishing and guiding on the White River here in Northern Arkansas! Fishing has been pretty good for both streamer fishing and nymphing. The White River is a ever changing system and rarely stays the same from one day to the next. Streamer fishing is what we do most days – hunting for big Brown Trout. Most productive with higher water and or clouds and rain. Rising water from power generation can work well also. Low water and bright skies and nymphing is much more productive. Below is a day in the rain and Browns were out eating big streamers!
