Every year about this time I really look forward to January – its the start of my winter stay in Northern Arkansas on the White River! I just love doing guided trips and fishing as much as I can on this river for the next 3 months. It is located on the banks of the White River about 8 miles downstream from Bull Shoals Dam – 2 miles downstream of White Hole and 3 miles upstream from Wildcat Shoal. This location is right in the middle of some best Big Trout water on river and we have a private boat ramp. With separate level we are setup for a single angler (upstairs is comfortable for 1 or 2 people) or groups up to 12. Below is the beautiful view of the White River from the upstairs deck.
Mid level is just a wonderful set up and with our large groups where eat our meals.

Fireplaces in the lower and middle levels are very nice during cold snaps.
I prepare all the meal right at the Lodge for breakfast and dinner. We setup boats with lunches for on the river.
