The past week brought more rain to an already very wet region. One would think that would mean high water on the White River but just the opposite. To give some relief to current flooding in lower White River and Mississippi River Bull Shoal Dam has dropped down its power generation. Of late running roughly 6,000 cfs during the day and then minimum flow at night. This has slowed down the streamer bite a bit but still finding some good trout when that water starts rising each day. Below Ron and Bradley with some nice browns from this past week.
With the lower water fishing shad patterns down deep and nymphing have both been productive. Jack and Greg with some nice brown and cutthroats this week nymphing.
